Grey Metalix Connect is a manufacturing-focused organization in the Greater Kolkata Area, committed to delivering reliable, high-quality metal and industrial products. The Machine Operator role is a full-time hybrid position based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to safety and quality standards.
• Load materials into machinery.
• Adjust machine settings.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Use hand tools for minor adjustments or part handling.
• Inspect finished products.
• Document production data.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members about issues affecting output or quality.
• Follow established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Machine Operation skills.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery used in manufacturing environments.
• Quality Control skills, including the ability to inspect parts, identify defects, and follow quality standards.
• Practical experience with hand tools for adjustments, assembly, and routine equipment handling.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and coworkers.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to handle moderate lifting as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a machine operator or in a similar shop-floor role is preferred.
• Vocational training or technical certification in manufacturing or mechanical trades is an advantage.
