About the Role
The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team at TikTok is responsible for protecting users from harmful content and abusive behaviors, aiming to provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone. The team builds content moderation process systems, rule engines, strategy systems, feature engines, moderation platforms, data platforms, risk insight systems, and supportive platforms across the TnS organization. This role offers opportunities for graduates to pursue bold ideas, tackle complex challenges, and unlock limitless growth. General Hire track for TikTok Trust and Safety (TnS) Organization involves a unified interview process to assess fit across the entire organization. Teams will be identified based on candidate background, experience, interests, and interview performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the overall architecture design and implementation of the data application platforms of the TnS, formulating data application architecture specifications and leading the team to implement them.
- Optimize the data application architecture, continuously improving system stability and efficiency, and reducing complexity and cost of storage, calculation, and service architecture.
- Design and implement systematic support for data integration, offline development, real-time development, data governance, and BI analysis.
- Establish technical influence inside and outside the department, cultivate talents, effectively coach the team, and improve R&D capabilities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with software development in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Java.
- Proficiency in the server technology stack in distributed / high concurrency scenarios, including rpc, message queue, link tracking, and service governance.
- Experience with big data systems and related technologies like Spark, Flink, ClickHouse, HBase.
- Experience with data insight and related technologies like machine learning, statistical analysis is preferred.
Qualifications
- Individuals completing or recently completed a Bachelor's or above degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
