Artificial Intelligence Intern

About the Role

The Artificial Intelligence Intern at Rakuvo will work remote in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with engineers and data scientists.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with data preprocessing.
• Assisting with exploratory analysis.
• Building machine learning models under guidance from senior team members.
• Implementing and testing algorithms.
• Writing clean and efficient code for prototypes.
• Supporting the integration of AI components into existing products or internal tools.
• Documenting experiments.
• Reviewing research papers relevant to ongoing projects.
• Presenting findings to the team.
• Participating in team meetings.
• Contributing ideas.
• Maintaining clear communication about project progress and challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering basics.
• Solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
• Exposure to Data Science practices, such as data cleaning, feature engineering, and basic statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Machine Learning, including supervised and unsupervised methods and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in Programming (e.g., Python, R, or similar languages), and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks used in AI.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of AI/ML tools (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn) is an advantage.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
