Consultant, TAX

About the Role

This role is for a Consultant within the TAX - Indirect Tax - Core team, specializing in TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) engagements in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in indirect tax concepts and core tax compliance processes for TMT clients.
• Analyze tax-related data, identify issues, and support accurate indirect tax treatment.
• Review work outputs for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to applicable tax requirements.
• Handle client deliverables with sound technical judgment and attention to detail.
• Take ownership of assigned tax tasks and support issue resolution using structured consulting methods.

Qualifications

• Any professional qualification (CA/CMA/BL etc.)

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 0-1 year experience in Indirect Tax (IDT).
• Strong understanding of indirect tax concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple client departments.
• Practical approach to solving complex problems and delivering insightful solutions.
