Role Description

The Freelance Makeup Artist will provide professional makeup services for marketing campaigns, photo shoots, video content, and virtual brand events. This part-time remote role involves collaborating with creative and marketing teams to develop looks that align with brand guidelines and campaign concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and demonstrating makeup looks via virtual sessions.
• Advising on suitable products and techniques for models or talent.
• Preparing style guides or visual references.
• Coordinating scheduling.
• Maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Ensuring all work is delivered on time and in line with agreed quality standards.

Qualifications

• Professional Cosmetology skills, including strong knowledge of makeup techniques and products.
• Hair Styling abilities to complement makeup looks and support complete visual presentation.
• Customer Service skills to interact professionally with talent, clients, and internal teams.
• Sales and Training experience to recommend products, demonstrate techniques, and guide others on best practices.
• Previous experience as a makeup artist in commercial, editorial, or digital content settings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and suitable equipment for virtual consultations and demonstrations.
• Relevant certifications or formal training in cosmetology or makeup artistry are beneficial.
