Bus Driver

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Bus Driver role based in Bengaluru for Asian Fab Tech Pvt Ltd, a manufacturing and engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company buses to transport employees or materials between designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus.
• Adhere to traffic rules and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs.
• Report any mechanical issues.
• Coordinate with supervisors or dispatch for route changes or delays.
• Interact respectfully with passengers.
• Provide assistance when boarding or alighting.
• Support a safe and orderly environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bus and Truck Driving skills, with experience handling commercial or company vehicles.
• Defensive Driving skills and a solid understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Driver Training experience or certification, demonstrating familiarity with professional driving standards.
• Customer Service skills, including polite communication and respectful interaction with passengers and colleagues.
• Valid commercial driving license appropriate for bus operation in India, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow route plans, schedules, and basic written instructions in English or local language.
• Capability to perform basic vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings or evenings, as per operational requirements.
• Previous experience as a bus or commercial vehicle driver in an industrial or corporate setting is an advantage.
