About the Role
This is a remote internship role focused on AI/ML and AR/VR at Trialshopy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and prototyping AI-driven features that enhance personalization, virtual try-ons, and voice-assisted shopping experiences.
- Perform data collection and preprocessing.
- Train and evaluate machine learning models.
- Contribute to computer vision or recommendation systems tailored to e-commerce use cases.
- Support AR/VR feature development by collaborating on interactive product visualization.
- Conduct user experience testing for AR/VR features.
- Integrate AR/VR features with existing platform workflows.
- Document experiments.
- Iterate on solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model training, and evaluation.
- Experience or coursework in computer vision, recommendation systems, or natural language processing (NLP), preferably applied to e-commerce or user experience problems.
- Familiarity with AR/VR technologies and frameworks (e.g., Unity, Unreal, WebAR, ARCore/ARKit).
- Interest in building interactive visual experiences.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python.
- Exposure to relevant libraries or tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, scikit-learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data.
- Willingness to experiment, iterate, and learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Interest in e-commerce innovation, user-centered design, and making shopping more accessible and engaging for diverse user groups.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience is also valued.
