Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Automate business-critical scenarios involving Manhattan Active.
- Create and maintain reusable automation components and test suites.
- Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end automated testing.
- Analyse test failures, investigate defects, and coordinate with development teams on resolution.
- Maintain test coverage as application functionality changes.
- Participate in requirement analysis and identify scenarios suitable for automation.
- Contribute to overall QA practices and release-quality validation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Practical experience working with Manhattan Active applications or implementations.
- Strong understanding of UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites.
- Good understanding of test scenarios, test cases, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot failed automated tests and distinguish application defects from automation issues.
- Experience with API testing.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript-based automation.
- Understanding of CI/CD-based automated test execution.
- Experience testing retail, order-management, fulfilment, or related enterprise applications would be useful.
