About the Role
- Intern – UI/UX Designer (Summer 2027) at Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation.
- Will work closely with the developer/designer team and the marketing team to ensure seamless web/mobile design and successful implementation of UI/UX best practices across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects from inception to launch, including research, flows, wireframing, prototyping, and content authoring.
- Collaborate with marketing and designer teams on product requirements, focusing on user experience, ease-of-use, performance, and efficiency of websites.
- Quickly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, working independently and collaboratively with designers and the marketing team.
- Work with web developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and guide the interface through the development process.
- Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and page designs for websites.
- Author content for landing pages across multiple brand sites.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Figma, Adobe XD, or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): Nice to have previous experience or working knowledge.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Understanding of.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in UX Design, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or other related disciplines.
- Possess great problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast, agile environment.
- Passion for usability and effective, attractive UI.
- Interested in latest digital trends & web technologies.
