Job Summary
Performs echocardiograms including M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler, and TEE Echocardiogram.
Performs pediatric Echocardiogram.
Provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens, and stress testing.
Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity.
Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Education: Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months performing Echocardiograms.
- Preferred experience: 1 year performing Echocardiograms.
- Certifications/Licensure: Must have CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS.
- New graduates require registration within one year from hire date or transfer into the position.
- Courses/Completions: Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA).
- Must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
