Healthcare Data Analyst Intern, India

About the Role

Skillzenloop is looking for a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst Intern to support healthcare data analysis, reporting, data quality checks, and research activities. The selected candidate will work with healthcare-related datasets, identify trends, organise information, and prepare analytical reports while gaining practical exposure to healthcare analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organise, clean, and validate healthcare-related datasets.
• Analyse healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate analytical findings.
• Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to manage and analyse structured data.
• Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and organise information from databases.
• Assist in creating visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Support data quality checks by identifying missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records.
• Assist in analysing healthcare operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Conduct research on healthcare trends, processes, and relevant industry metrics.
• Document analytical methods, observations, and reporting results.
• Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and project objectives.
• Follow data privacy and confidentiality requirements when handling healthcare information.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of data analysis and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of SQL is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of healthcare terminology or healthcare operations is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to prepare structured reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Understanding of data privacy and responsible data handling practices.
• Willingness to learn healthcare analytics tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field may apply.
• Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Candidates with academic projects involving data analysis, healthcare research, or reporting are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

• Duration: 1–3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
