Purchase Executive, Conrad Bengaluru

About the Role

The Purchase Executive is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, evaluation, and management, and negotiating contract terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply chain stability. This role supports the procurement and inventory management process, aiming to deliver memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Support purchasing and receiving operations: Assist with procurement, oversee receiving processes, and manage inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure efficient stock management.
• Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with outlet managers to ensure purchases meet operational needs and specifications.
• Process invoices: Review invoices for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment and issue resolution.
• Assist with supplier management: Help secure competitive pricing, place orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
• Perform quality checks: Inspect shipments to verify they meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards.
• Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise purchasing and receiving clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Procurement systems and inventory software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
• Experience in hospitality procurement or similar industry.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
