About the Role
The Generative AI Engineer role at Altraize is a full-time hybrid position based in Pune City, with flexibility for some work-from-home.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, training, and deploying generative AI models to support and enhance Altraize’s outsourcing services and internal tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Building prototypes.
- Integrating AI solutions into production systems.
- Data preparation.
- Model evaluation.
- Performance optimization.
- Documentation.
- Ongoing maintenance of AI pipelines.
- Staying current with the latest AI research.
- Proposing improvements.
- Contributing to scalable, reliable, and secure AI architectures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python.
- Experience using libraries and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI models (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, large language models), including training, fine-tuning, and evaluating model performance.
- Skills in data engineering and preprocessing, including working with structured and unstructured data, building datasets, and applying best practices for data quality and governance.
- Experience with deploying models to production environments, using APIs, containers (e.g., Docker), cloud platforms, or MLOps tools for monitoring, scaling, and versioning.
- Familiarity with software engineering practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code reviews, testing, and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of AI ethics, security, and compliance considerations, including responsible AI usage, bias mitigation, and data privacy standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and a hybrid work setting.
- Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, including keeping up with emerging AI research and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in outsourcing, BPO, or service-oriented environments is an advantage.
- Exposure to customer support, data management, or technical support domains is an advantage.
