About the Role

Suman Automation Services is a growing provider of industrial automation solutions specializing in control panels and electrical systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, with potential for occasional support at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring and assembling electrical control panels according to diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Terminating cables.
• Mounting electrical components.
• Labeling wiring.
• Performing basic testing to verify proper connections and panel functionality.
• Assisting in troubleshooting wiring issues.
• Coordinating with engineers or supervisors to resolve faults.
• Ensuring panels meet quality and safety standards.
• Adhering to workplace safety practices.
• Collaborating with other technicians and project teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Electricity
• Foundational understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to panel wiring and control systems.
• Electrical Equipment handling (safe use, installation, and basic testing of components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and drives).
• Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and repair wiring and component issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of basic electrical safety standards and safe working practices in industrial environments.
• Ability to work with hand tools and measurement instruments.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in panel wiring, industrial automation, or control panel assembly is an advantage.
• Attention to detail.
• Readiness to work on-site in Pune City.
