About the Role
Satellite Healthcare / WellBound is seeking a purpose-driven team member to provide quality care to patients in a safe and professional environment. The Patient Care Technician Trainee (PCT Trainee) will be in training to learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The PCT Trainee will learn how to perform the hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and the local center's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and monitor patient vital signs.
- Perform blood tests.
- Document appropriate patient information.
- Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment.
- Clean equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
- CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date.
- One (1) year of medical experience preferred.
