About the Role
Retro Automation Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electronic components, boards, and industrial automation systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components, boards, and industrial automation systems.
- Using test equipment to identify faults.
- Performing component-level repairs.
- Conducting preventive maintenance.
- Documenting all work performed in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians.
- Supporting installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies.
- Proficiency in component-level repair, soldering, rework, and replacement of electronic parts on PCBs and control modules.
- Understanding of industrial automation systems (e.g., PLCs, drives, control panels).
- Basic familiarity with control logic and interfaces.
- Awareness of electrical and electronic safety standards, ESD practices, and safe handling of tools and equipment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Gurugram.
- Ability to manage multiple repair tasks and maintain organized workflows under time constraints.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in electronics repair or industrial automation are an advantage.
- Prior experience in electronics repair, maintenance, or service engineering in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
