About the Role

The Cashier/Expo is a part-time team member of the Front of House responsible for superior customer satisfaction through positive customer management. This role involves greeting customers, providing menu guidance, processing payments, managing loyalty benefits, and upholding company core values. The Cashier/Expo is expected to be a role model for the D’Lite company culture, delivering the best service in a clean, friendly, and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally and enthusiastically greet customers, guide them through the menu, and process orders efficiently with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Maintain superior knowledge of the entire menu, including ingredients, modifications, allergens, and upcharge costs.
• Field inside, drive-thru, and phone orders.
• Perform tasks of other team members as needed.
• Operate a Point of Sale system [POS], accurately reconciling daily checkouts, sales, tips, and credit cards.
• Adhere to proper cash handling procedures.
• Follow policies and procedures for comps, voids, employee food, and the customer loyalty program.
• Complete position primary and secondary responsibilities, as well as daily duties, at a superior level.
• Address customer complaints and report to the Shift Leader [SL] and/or General Manager [GM].
• Perform table touches to ensure order accuracy, food quality, needed refills, and guest satisfaction.
• Keep company passwords and intellectual property confidential.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude, and present professional conduct and appearance at all times.
• Utilize, implement, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, systems, and processes.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled hours range from Sunday – Saturday, 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours.

• High school graduate

• Basic math and computer skills
• Successful completion of Team Member Training Program
• Availability to work on weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Fluent in English (speak and write)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience
• Proficiency on Aloha POS
