Garment Merchandiser

About the Role

The Garment Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Okhla Phase-2. This role involves coordinating with buyers and suppliers on product specifications, sampling, pricing, and order confirmations, while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers and suppliers on product specifications, sampling, pricing, and order confirmations.
• Manage correspondence.
• Track production status.
• Handle approvals.
• Resolve issues related to fabric, trims, and fits.
• Support cost negotiations.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Interact frequently with customers and vendors to build strong business relationships and support ongoing sales and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage buyers, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
• Sales and Retail skills to understand market trends, consumer preferences, and commercial requirements for garment products.
• Marketing skills to support product positioning, presentations, and brand-aligned merchandising strategies.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in garment merchandising, apparel sourcing, or fashion retail.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.
• Experience with ERP or merchandising tools.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
