About the Role

Team members work closely with manufacturing and technical partners to improve processes and product quality. This is a full-time, on-site Freelance Chemical Engineer role based in the Pune Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to improve efficiency, safety, and product performance.
- Perform process calculations.
- Monitor plant operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Support scale-up of new formulations or processes.
- Conduct laboratory and pilot tests.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Analytical Skills for process analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
- Laboratory Skills for testing, experimentation, and validating process and product performance.
- Experience in the Chemical Industry, including familiarity with industrial processes, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective Communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Process Engineering skills for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting chemical processes and equipment.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of process simulation tools and standard engineering software is advantageous.
- Understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality systems (e.g., ISO) is beneficial.
