Junior Engineer

Position Title: OMS Junior Engineer/AP(Trainee)

Role Summary

OMS Junior Engineer is an entry-level position responsible for supporting Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) operation and maintenance activities under the guidance of senior team members. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient turbine operations while adhering to company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities of WTGs.
• Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, servicing, and health checks of wind turbines.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OEM guidelines, Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and Work-at-Height safety requirements.
• Support fault identification, troubleshooting, and restoration activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, checklists, and related documentation accurately.
• Ensure proper use, handling, and upkeep of tools, tackles, PPE, and safety equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards at turbine locations and site premises.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, skill development programs, and operational trainings.
• Support site teams in achieving maintenance and operational targets.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Freshers are eligible. Up to 2 years of experience in Wind Energy, Power, Manufacturing, Electrical Maintenance, or Industrial Maintenance will be an added advantage.
