Role Description
The Tender Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for identifying tender opportunities, reviewing tender documents, and preparing accurate proposals and bids in line with company guidelines and client requirements. The Tender Executive will coordinate with sales, technical, and finance teams to gather necessary inputs, prepare cost estimates, and ensure timely submission of tender documents. Daily activities include managing tender portals, maintaining tender records, tracking bid status, and supporting post-bid clarifications or negotiations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with tender terms, updating management on tender progress, and contributing to process improvements for tender management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify tender opportunities.
- Review tender documents.
- Prepare accurate proposals and bids in line with company guidelines and client requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, technical, and finance teams to gather necessary inputs.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Ensure timely submission of tender documents.
- Manage tender portals.
- Maintain tender records.
- Track bid status.
- Support post-bid clarifications or negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with tender terms.
- Update management on tender progress.
- Contribute to process improvements for tender management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in online tender/e-procurement portals.
- Tender documentation, bid preparation, and proposal writing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, and finance teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of audiovisual solutions, communication systems, or IT infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience in government or corporate tendering processes will be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
