General Laborer, Entry Level

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with hand tools, knives, and machinery to process meat products.
• Perform essential production tasks and support coworkers.
• Maintain a safe and efficient production line.
• Ensure products reach consumers.
• May be required to work overtime depending on production demands.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing and able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform continuous/repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching, flexing, and extending arms.
• Ability to stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Willing to work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Willing to work with a knife (if trained).
• Ability to work in cold areas (approximately 20-40 degrees) and/or warm areas (over 100 degrees).
• Ability to work in a wet and humid environment.
• Willing to work while wearing a hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willing to work with sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work around strong smells/odors.
• Ability to climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• May require certification to operate various pieces of equipment.
• This work is physically demanding and requires the use of various body parts and muscle groups.
• Some positions may require repetitive overhead lifting up to 30 lbs, single lifting of heavy objects up to 60 lbs, or lifting with mechanical assistance.

Compensation & Benefits

• $500 Sign-On Bonus.
• Hourly Competitive Starting Pay – $19.52/hour.
