Sample Handling Assistant I

About the Role

Labcorp is seeking a Sample Handling Assistant I to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves data entry and processing of requisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process requisitions received in batches from various regional LPS teams.
• Perform accessioning: First & Second entry of patient demographics and administrative questions displayed on requisitions.
• Complete various batches according to their urgency and defined turnaround time.
• Perform accessioning or data entry process under supervision, with the expectation to perform independently after training.
• Ensure received batches are timely processed.
• Generate an appropriate audit trail of all activities.
• Perform On-call and after-hours duties as needed.
• Read and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Perform all required training and maintain training files.
• Ensure proper documentation is made for future reference.
• Work well within a team environment.
• Generate new ideas for departmental process improvement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's Degree in Science
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications

• 6 months work experience in a clinical research industry (Preferred)
• Master's Degree in Science (Preferred)
