Strategic Buyer (Aerospace Procurement)

About the Role

Honda Aircraft Company, LLC is seeking a Strategic Buyer in Greensboro, NC. This role involves administering material procurements, executing supplier RFQs, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring on-time delivery of components for HondaJet manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and purchase order execution for assigned aircraft production materials and services.
• Issue RFQ packages to approved aerospace suppliers, perform quotation bid analyses, and negotiate commercial pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and quality teams to align supplier deliveries with manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and expedite critical aircraft hardware to prevent production line stoppages.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement files and contract records conforming to FAA and company regulatory standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• SAP
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related technical field.
• 0-3 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Foundational knowledge of purchase order administration, commercial contracts, and cost negotiation techniques.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and professional communication skills.
