The Health Insurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Green Bay, Wisconsin Metropolitan Area. This role involves advising clients on health insurance options, explaining plan benefits and coverage details, and helping them compare and select appropriate policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting needs assessments
• Preparing quotes
• Processing applications
• Maintaining accurate client records
• Responding to inquiries
• Resolving coverage-related questions
• Providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction
• Collaborating with internal team members and carriers to stay current on product changes, regulatory updates, and market trends

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Health Insurance products knowledge, including plan types, benefits, and regulatory considerations
• Understanding of Insurance principles and practices relevant to individual and group health coverage
• Proficiency with standard office software and customer management tools
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple clients simultaneously, and maintain organized documentation

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and listen actively to client needs
• Customer Service skills with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries, and supporting clients before and after enrollment
• Sales skills to identify suitable solutions, present options effectively, and support ethical policy recommendations
• Relevant state health insurance license or willingness to obtain one within a defined timeframe
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Further education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services is beneficial
