About the Role

Veritas Concierge Primary Care is a patient-centered primary care practice emphasizing personalized, relationship-based medicine. The team is focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clinicians by preparing exam rooms.
• Take vital signs.
• Update medical histories.
• Assist with examinations and procedures.
• Manage patient flow.
• Handle phone and in-person inquiries.
• Coordinate appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, and specimen collection as permitted by certification and practice protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure a positive patient experience, uphold safety and privacy standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of the medical office.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in clinical procedures, vital signs, and routine patient support.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Experience in a Medical Office environment, including managing appointment schedules, front-desk interactions, and basic administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated Patient Care abilities, focusing on compassionate, professional, and culturally respectful interactions.
• Experience working with Medical Records, including accurate charting, EHR usage, and adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small practice setting.
• Prior experience in primary care or internal medicine is preferred but not required.
