Architect Internship in Bangalore

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Architect Intern role at Atelier Astil.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing design concepts.
• Help draft and render design ideas using software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development.
• Create and modify technical drawings and plans under the guidance of licensed architects.
• Update project documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Produce 3D models to visualize architectural designs.
• Render images and produce presentation materials to communicate design ideas.
• Prepare construction documents and assist in detailing for various projects.
• Participate in site visits to understand the construction process.
• Take field measurements and record observations for project updates.
• Assist with coordination between various consultants (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, and sustainability practices.
• Analyze design precedents, building technologies, and site conditions.
• Help in organizing project files, drawings, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing documents for permits, zoning, and client approvals.
• Participate in team meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
• Gain exposure to best practices in design, documentation, and project management.
• Learn about local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Basic understanding of building codes and construction processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in architecture/interior design.
• Strong organizational, creative, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Revit, Vray, Detailing drawing, BOQ.

Requirements

• Willing to work from the office in Bangalore.
• Provide the date of the start of the internship from your college.
• Provide a Bonafide letter from the Placement Officer of the college.

This is a paid internship with a stipend.
