About the Role
Weston & Sampson is hiring an Engineer with our water discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience out of our Portsmouth, NH office.
Key Responsibilities
- Interest in the planning, study, design, and construction of water supply, storage, distribution, and treatment systems.
- Interest in the construction of water systems.
- Interest in computer-aided analyses of water distribution systems, including preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction.
- Handle flexible work load and diverse project files.
- Work well with multiple staff members.
- Make day trips to project sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, and construction observation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Interest/experience with the basic AutoCAD environment.
- Interest/experience with ARCGIS.
- Valid driver’s license required for day trips.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 0-4 years of experience.
- Either in possession of or pursuing EIT or PE licensure status.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prior experience or coursework doing water resources, water treatment, water distribution, hydraulics, or related civil engineering design work.
- Experience with ArcGIS.
- Strong Writing and Verbal Communication Skills.
Salary Range
- $72,000 - $78,000 based on education.
