Research Engineer

About the Role

Bryka, a sister company of Beacon Industries, is seeking a skilled and innovative Research Engineer to join their dynamic team. This cross-functional role involves collaborating closely with the engineering team across all stages of product development, from research and development through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic systems for aerospace/defense equipment.
• Develop prototypes of electronic systems and sub-systems for proof-of-concept and functional validation.
• Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, systems, manufacturing) to integrate electronic designs into complete systems.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic components.
• Ensure compliance with industry and military standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with the following tools: MATLAB, Simulink, Ansys, and COMSOL.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based design.
• Hands-on experience with electronic prototyping, soldering, and test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional engineering environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
