Counselor or Social Worker

About the Role

Chrysalis Health is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare with over 25 years of experience. We are seeking Master’s Level Mental Health Therapists, Counselors, or Social Workers to provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population. Services are primarily conducted in-person within the community, with some telehealth options available. There is no requirement to go to an office for administrative tasks or supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with an array of patient ages and diagnoses.
• Conduct and document client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.
• Deliver services to clients in the community; no office requirement.
• Utilize evidenced based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients.
• Identify resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal client care.
• Advocate for patient access to community resources.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate and offer individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
• Demonstrate professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must reside within the State of Florida.
• Possess Mental Health Registered Intern Licensure OR be qualified to attain licensure within 60 days of the start date.
• Ability to document therapy services in an electronic medical records (EMR) platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Organizational and Time allocation skill abilities.
• Ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs and provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings.
• Ability to utilize self-care techniques to achieve optimal work-life balance.
• Compassionate, engaging, and have a strong desire to help others.
• FREE Clinical Supervision for Professional Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT).

Candidates with degrees or majors in the following will also be reviewed: Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, Community Counseling, Psychology, Youth Counseling, Human Development, Behavioral Science, Art Therapy, & Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

For these curriculums to qualify, transcripts must include at least four class codes that contain content from the following areas: Human Growth & Development, Diagnosis and treatment of Psychology, Human Sexuality, Counseling Theories and Techniques, Group Theories and Practice, Dynamic of Marriage and Family Systems, Individual Evaluation and Assessment, Research and Program Evaluation, Personality Theories, Social and Cultural Foundations, Counseling in Community Settings, and Substance Use Disorders.

Compensation & Benefits

• Earn Up to $85,500 per year based on Experience, Certifications, and Secondary Languages.
