About the Role
Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver at NeuroRestorative (a part of Sevita)
- Schedule: Full-time, 7 am to 3 pm or 11 pm to 7 am shifts, with some weekends required.
- Pay: $16/hour, depending on experience.
- Additional $0.50/hour for active CNAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other assistance in residential and community settings.
- Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
- Facilitate working relationships between employers and individuals served.
- Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must have an active, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Successful clearance of background checks.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months to one year of experience in the human services field.
- Caring attitude with dedication to assisting others.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
- Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
