About the Role

A full-time, on-site Solidworks Application Engineer role. The role involves providing technical support and guidance to customers on Solidworks and related solutions, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for clients and internal teams.
• Assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Create and validate CAD models.
• Support integration with CAM and CAE tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams on customer projects.
• Document best practices and technical solutions.
• Stay current with new features, updates, and industry trends.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with Solidworks (preferably 3DEXPERIENCE Solidworks).
• Familiarity with CAM/CAE tools such as Mastercam or similar software.
• Strong Mechanical Engineering skills, including 3D CAD modeling, design validation, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Relevant Technical Support experience, including troubleshooting, customer communication, and issue resolution for engineering software.
• Software Development and Testing skills useful for customizations, automation, macros, and validating solution performance.
• Electrical Engineering fundamentals when supporting electromechanical designs or integrated CAD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering roles, solution consulting, or application engineering is an advantage.
