Public Speaking and Creative Writing Tutor

About the Role

EdifyChamps is an online education platform seeking a Public Speaking and Creative Writing Tutor. This full-time remote role focuses on delivering live online sessions to help learners strengthen their speaking confidence, presentation skills, and creative writing abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan lesson content.
• Conduct interactive one-on-one or small-group classes.
• Assess learner progress.
• Provide constructive feedback tailored to each student’s goals.
• Design engaging activities, exercises, and assignments that support both public speaking and creative writing outcomes.
• Maintain clear communication with learners and guardians as needed.
• Ensure reliable availability during scheduled teaching hours.
• Consistently document learner performance and session notes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written expression and active listening.
• Online Tutoring and Tutoring skills, with experience delivering structured lessons in a virtual environment.
• Writing and Literature skills, with the ability to teach creative writing techniques and discuss texts thoughtfully.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching public speaking or creative writing to children or adolescents is relevant.
• Ability to create age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Communications, Theatre, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction.
