Intern, NGO Funding

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Intern – NGO Funding role based in Gurugram / Work from home. The intern will support research and analysis related to NGO funding opportunities, including grants, donor programs, and impact investment options.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering financial and funding data.
• Assisting in preparing proposals and presentations.
• Maintaining organized records of funding sources and application timelines.
• Coordinating with external stakeholders.
• Drafting clear communication materials.
• Contributing to reports and basic financial summaries.
• Monitoring funding trends in the social sector.
• Supporting ongoing projects as needed.

Stipend: Based on the fund raised for the NGO

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess funding options, and support decision-making.
• Knowledge of Funding and NGO sector dynamics, including grants, donors, and philanthropic ecosystems.
• Basic Finance and Investments understanding to work with budgets, funding models, and impact-focused capital.
• Effective Communication skills for writing proposals, emails, and reports, and for engaging with stakeholders.
• Relevant coursework or interest in social sector, development studies, finance, or related fields is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for data organization and documentation is preferred.
