About the Role
This is a permanent role for a Senior Engineer - SDV. The role involves developing and providing technical and architectural direction for SDV software components, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions across vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of SDV software components
- Own technical architecture and design decisions
- Guide teams working on OTA/FOTA, middleware, and platform services
- Review code, designs, and ensure adherence to engineering standards
- Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
- Collaborate with Product Owner on roadmap and technical feasibility
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong hands-on experience in C++ (modern C++) and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, J1939, Ethernet
- Proficiency in debugging (using GDB) and performance optimization of embedded Linux–based distributed systems
- Good working knowledge of Python, Linux, and Docker
- Experience with OTA/FOTA systems and SDV architecture
- Experience in embedded Linux or automotive platforms
- Ability to balance technical depth and leadership
Nice To Have
- AUTOSAR Adaptive, SOME/IP, DDS
- Automotive Ethernet
- Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP, SOVD) optionally with practical exposure
- Exposure to Functional Safety (e.g., ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity practices (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, CRA)
