About the Role
Cadvin Technologies India Pvt Ltd is an authorized reseller of SolidCAM and Greabert Ares software solutions, serving manufacturing and engineering organizations. The company focuses on providing advanced CAD/CAM tools that improve productivity, precision, and design efficiency. The Field Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote SolidCAM and GREABERT ARES solutions to existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular client visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Follow up to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Prepare proposals and quotations.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Collaborate with technical and support teams to address customer queries.
- Assist with pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Contribute to sales forecasts and reporting.
- Stay updated on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Sales Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Skills in Sales and Sales Management (lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, deal closure).
- Skills in Account Management (maintaining long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, or related field) or a comparable technical discipline is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively.
- Ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SolidCAM, SOLIDWORKS, or similar CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience selling engineering software, CAD/CAM tools, or industrial/technical products is highly beneficial.
