Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Networking Specialist role. The specialist will install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and networking devices, ensuring consistent performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and networking devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues.
• Provide technical support to end users.
• Monitor network health to prevent downtime.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Update system configurations.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support upgrades, backups, and improvements to the overall IT environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills.
• Experience working with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and peripherals.
• Skills in Network Administration to manage routers, switches, access points, and ensure stable connectivity.
• Knowledge of Network Security practices.
• Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic server administration is beneficial.

Qualifications

• A relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
• A customer-focused mindset.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are an advantage.
