About the Role
Life Line Tulasi Hospital is seeking a full-time, on-site Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Hyderabad. The role involves providing immediate medical care in emergency and urgent situations, including initial assessment, stabilization, and safe transport within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency and urgent situations.
- Perform initial assessment and stabilization of patients.
- Ensure safe patient transport within the hospital.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Administer basic life support interventions.
- Assist physicians and nurses with procedures.
- Document patient care accurately.
- Respond to emergency calls within the hospital.
- Prepare and restock emergency equipment.
- Ensure adherence to protocols for infection control and patient safety.
- Collaborate with the emergency department team.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Background in Paramedic practice and Medicine.
- Solid knowledge of basic life support, trauma care, and emergency procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established medical protocols and hospital policies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interact respectfully with patients and families.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting, transferring patients, and prolonged standing.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification such as Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic qualification.
- U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or equivalent recognized certification is an advantage.
