Reddit Contributor Recruiter

About the Role

We’re looking for a resourceful, well-connected person to help find and onboard reliable people to support Reddit campaigns. The primary responsibility is to bring in suitable contributors who understand Reddit, can follow campaign requirements, and are available to complete assignments within required timelines. This role involves connecting interested individuals with the ReddSphere team and facilitating their onboarding via Discord.

Key Responsibilities

• Find suitable contributors
• Identify active Reddit users through relevant communities, networks, referrals, and other appropriate recruitment channels.
• Reach out to individuals who may be interested in participating in campaigns.
• Develop a consistent recruitment approach to attract suitable candidates.
• Adjust the approach based on the specific needs of each campaign.
• Screen interested candidates
• Assess familiarity with Reddit, community culture, and subreddit rules.
• Evaluate the ability to understand instructions, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
• Confirm availability and interest before referring candidates to the team.
• Prioritize reliable contributors who are a good fit for the campaign.
• Support Discord onboarding
• Invite suitable candidates to the Discord server.
• Accurately explain campaign requirements, working processes, and relevant terms.
• Assist new members in finding the right channels and completing onboarding.
• Coordinate with the team to resolve initial questions and ensure a straightforward handover.
• Track recruitment progress
• Maintain records of contacted individuals, interested candidates, and successfully onboarded contributors.
• Share regular updates on progress, candidate quality, and any recruitment challenges.
• Work towards agreed recruitment targets and campaign deadlines.
• Use feedback from the team to improve future recruitment efforts.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of Reddit and Discord.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in approaching potential candidates.
• Ability to find people independently and follow up consistently.
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Understanding that successful recruitment involves bringing in people ready and able to contribute.
• Respectful recruitment approach that adheres to community rules.
• Experience in community recruitment, talent sourcing, ambassador programs, or online community building is helpful.
• An existing network of active Reddit users is a plus.
• Formal recruitment experience is welcome, but practical application and delivery are also valued.

Qualifications

• This is a paid contract opportunity. Compensation, recruitment targets, payment timelines, and scope of work will be discussed and agreed upon upfront.
