Business Development Intern

About the Role

A dynamic and motivated student, currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, who is keen to learn how business development works in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys: reach out to prospective and existing clients to understand their financial needs and priorities, and record their responses accurately.
• Plan goals with Lifeline: map each client's life goals onto a Lifeline plan, so every goal has a clear timeline and target.
• Run financial audits: carry out the Monthly Money Management Audit to identify a client's cash surplus, and complete risk profiling to understand their risk appetite.
• Book appointments for your supervisor: schedule client meetings and follow up, so the supervisor's calendar stays organised and no lead is missed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree
• Additional certifications or degrees are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
