About the Role
Arpna Construction is seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Design Engineer based in Patna. This role is designed for individuals looking to build foundational experience in design engineering within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in developing design concepts.
- Prepare technical drawings.
- Assist with project documentation.
- Create and update CAD models.
- Review design specifications.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure design implementation aligns with project requirements.
- Perform basic calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with quality and safety compliance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Skills in Mechanical Engineering.
- Skills in Electrical Engineering.
- Skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for preparing detailed drawings, models, and technical documentation.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, safety standards, and relevant codes or regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly with team members, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to project requirements, and use engineering software tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in design and documentation.
- Prior internship or project experience in construction or design is an advantage.
