About the Role

7even is looking for a curious, resourceful analyst interested in financial markets, understanding businesses, questioning market narratives, and turning research into investment ideas. The role spans market and company research, investment monitoring, and social media content.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and Company Research
• Track markets, economic developments, industry trends, and emerging investment themes.
• Connect developments across sectors, policy, and technology to identify opportunities and risks.
• Analyze businesses, financial statements, valuations, competitive positioning, and management quality.
• Study company disclosures, build financial models, and prepare clear investment notes.
• Bring fresh ideas, challenge assumptions, and revisit conclusions as evidence changes.
• Investment Management and Monitoring
• Support investments through research, portfolio tracking, and investment reviews.
• Monitor holdings, performance, exposures, and relevant developments.
• Maintain investment records and assist with approved actions under the partners’ oversight.
• Content and Social Media
• Turn research into engaging posts, charts, and financial explainers.
• Propose original ideas and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
• Publish approved content with accurate sourcing and respect for confidentiality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A foundation in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with financial statements, valuation, and equity markets.
• Working knowledge of Excel and an interest in financial modeling.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Comfort using research platforms and AI tools while independently checking outputs.
• Relevant internships, personal research, and investment write-ups are welcome.

Qualifications

• CFA progress is an advantage.
• Data-analysis skills are an advantage.
• Financial content experience is an advantage.
