About the Role
DRT Aerospace is hiring a Production Utility Operator to support machining, inspection, material handling, and production operations in our clean, climate-controlled facility. This is a hands-on career opportunity with paid training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts on CNC machines
- Support machining and production operations
- Deburr, clean, and prepare parts for processing
- Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks
- Assist with blue light 3D inspection equipment (training provided)
- Move materials, parts, and supplies throughout the facility
- Deliver tools and materials to production workstations
- Support shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory activities
- Perform basic measurements using calipers and micrometers (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures
- Support multiple departments as business needs require
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience
- Experience using hand tools
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
- Interest in machining, quality inspection, aerospace manufacturing, or skilled trades

Shift & Location
- Location: Sidney, OH
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
