About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and curious Data Science Intern (2026) for a 4-month paid internship. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real datasets, machine learning models, AI applications, and practical data science problems. As part of a small startup, you will have opportunities to explore ideas, conduct experiments, contribute to projects, and see how AI-driven products are built. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals, enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative, and is eager to learn.

What You'll Work On

• Collecting, cleaning, processing, and analyzing structured and unstructured datasets.
• Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Building, training, testing, and evaluating machine learning models.
• Working with Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and data visualization libraries.
• Applying statistical methods to analyze data and support decision-making.
• Supporting the development of AI-powered applications and intelligent automation systems.
• Exploring machine learning techniques, emerging AI tools, and modern data workflows.
• Working with APIs, databases, and data pipelines where required.
• Conducting experiments, documenting results, and improving existing solutions.
• Collaborating directly with the team to solve practical problems and contribute to ongoing projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Python (basic to intermediate proficiency)
• Data science fundamentals, statistics, and machine learning concepts
• Libraries: pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn, scikit-learn
• Data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, and APIs is a plus
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate remotely
• Genuine interest in AI, data science, and building technology-driven products

Qualifications

• Students or recent graduates pursuing Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
