About the Role

The Data Analyst Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across projects and initiatives. This internship offers practical exposure to analytics tools and methods while providing guidance to develop professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets.
• Performing basic data analysis.
• Assisting in the creation of dashboards and reports.
• Helping to build and test data models.
• Analyzing trends and patterns.
• Contributing to data summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborating with mentors and team members to understand business questions, document findings, and present insights.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with spreadsheets and/or data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a foundation in data analytics, including the ability to interpret and draw insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and statistical concepts used in data analysis and performance measurement.
• Understanding of data modeling principles and ability to assist in building and validating data models.
• Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Interest in continuous learning, openness to feedback, and commitment to ethical handling of data.
