About the Role
The Data Analyst Trainee will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting the collection, cleaning, and analysis of healthcare-related data. The trainee will collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to interpret data trends and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing datasets
- Running basic statistical analyses
- Building simple data models
- Assisting in the creation of dashboards and reports
- Documenting methods
- Maintaining data quality standards
- Communicating results to stakeholders in an understandable way
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities, with an ability to interpret patterns and trends.
- Basic understanding of Statistics, including descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing.
- Exposure to Data Modeling concepts, such as structuring datasets and defining relationships between data entities.
- Effective Communication skills to present data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- Interest in healthcare analytics and willingness to learn new tools, methods, and industry practices.
Tech Stack & Tools (Beneficial)
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and/or analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or BI tools is beneficial.
