Accounts & Finance Associate

About the Role

This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording financial transactions
• Maintaining ledgers
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Supporting financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards
• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Providing analytical support for management decisions
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify financial queries
• Supporting audit and regulatory requirements

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, including knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
• Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Effective Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA in progress or completed) are a plus.
