Software Engineer, Product Dev

About the Role

RTAC is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of business applications and digital products. The role involves translating functional requirements into working software, implementing application features, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with the team to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance application modules based on business and technical requirements.
• Implement application workflows, business logic, and data processing functionality.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
• Work with databases to store, retrieve, and process application data.
• Debug existing code, resolve defects, and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, software testing, and application maintenance.
• Collaborate with designers, testers, and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document technical changes and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of programming fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
• Understanding of SQL databases and basic database design.
• Knowledge of web technologies, REST APIs, and application architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and software development workflows.
• Strong logical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Academic projects or internship experience in software development is an advantage.
• Freshers with a strong technical foundation are welcome to apply.
