Remote Illustrator/Sketcher/Cartoonist

About the Role

Turing is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Illustrator / Sketcher / Cartoonist with strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to work across a wide range of artistic styles. This opportunity is open to interns, freshers, and experienced artists.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, stylized illustrations based on provided briefs, references, and creative requirements.
• Adapt to and accurately replicate a variety of illustration, sketching, and artistic styles.
• Produce multiple variations of artwork while maintaining consistency in composition, characters, and visual elements.
• Apply strong fundamentals in composition, color, lighting, texture, perspective, and visual storytelling.
• Create and render characters, environments, objects, and complete scenes as required.
• Ensure final artwork is polished, visually consistent, production-ready, and aligned with project requirements.
• Clearly document prompts, creative decisions, style choices, and relevant metadata when required.
• Collaborate with team members, incorporate feedback, and make revisions efficiently.
• Manage assigned tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Background or demonstrated skills as an Illustrator, Sketch Artist, Cartoonist, Digital Artist, Concept Artist, or in a similar creative role.
• A detailed portfolio is required and should demonstrate artistic ability and versatility across different styles.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, perspective, and visual balance.
• Ability to illustrate and render characters, scenes, objects, and/or environments.
• Ability to understand references and accurately adapt or replicate different artistic styles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to incorporate feedback, manage revisions, and complete assignments within expected timelines.
• No minimum professional experience required.
