C# Machine Automation Programmer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site C# Machine Automation Programmer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining C# software that controls and monitors automated machinery and vision inspection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing machine control logic.
• Integrating hardware devices and sensors.
• Optimizing communication between machines and back-end systems.
• Troubleshooting software and automation issues.
• Performing root-cause analysis.
• Deploying updates to improve stability, performance, and safety.
• Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and QA teams.
• Writing technical documentation.
• Supporting installation, calibration, and maintenance of automated systems at customer sites.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in C# and .NET for industrial or automation applications.
• Experience with Software Development and Programming.
• Familiarity with Back-End Web Development (e.g., APIs, services, databases).
• Experience with machine automation, industrial control systems, or vision inspection equipment is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., PLCs, motion controllers, TCP/IP, serial communication) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including design patterns and modular, maintainable code practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in a lab or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to document work clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Readiness to learn new tools and frameworks used in machine automation.
